St. Gertrude’s Groceries
Our fundraising is off to a great start. We have
135 families participating and hope more will get
on board. The following are some of the common questions
asked:
Q..Do I have to order every week?
A. No. It may be more convenient to order once
or twice a month. For example, instead of ordering
$50/week, you can order $100.00 every two weeks.
Q..How many times can I enter the monthly draw?
A. Every time you pick-up your order, your signed
envelope is put into the draw for that month.
Q..Have we made a 5% profit on our sales each
week so far?
A. No. The profit level that we receive is based
on the sales. If we order $3,000.00 in cards from
one chain of stores alone, we receive a 3% profit.
We must have at least $1,000 in an order from
any of the store chains before we receive even
1%. We can have 2% profit from one chain and 3%
from another in the same week.
Q.. Why do I need to put my order in on the weekend
instead of Monday or Tuesday?
A. All of the orders are processed on Monday morning
(by 8:30am) so that the head office for the stores
can send the cards out to us and we have time
to prepare them for your pick-up on the next weekend.
