Online Donations
Now you can make your donations using your credit card through the Archdiocese of Toronto website.  Online Donations can be made by following these links.

PAG (Pre-Authorized Giving)

The Archdiocese of Toronto strongly urges parishioners to take part in this method of donating.  This creates a reliable source of revenue for our parish and reduces the weekly work of our collection counters.  Donation information is handled strictly by our bookkeeper and the Archdiocese and fully confidential.

To calculate your Monthly donation, multiply your weekly donation x 52(weeks) and divide by 12months. For example: $20. x 52 weeks equals $1,040. Divide this into 12 monthly payments of $86.67.  This is the amount that would be deducted each month from your bank account.

Pick up an application form and attach a VOID cheque. This must be returned to the parish office and can be done so by placing in an envelope marked ATTENTION: OFFICE and placed in the collection basket. Thank you to those who already donate in this manner and we hope many more of you will consider. To increase your monthly gift please complete a new form.  If you wish to continue placing  your weekly envelope in the basket simply mark it PAG. NOTE: You must pick up a box of envelopes for Special collection purposes.

Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response

U.S. Bishops Pastoral letter on Stewardship Summary

Introduction

Three convictions in particular underlie what we say in this pastoral letter.

1. Mature disciples make a conscious, firm decision, carried out in action, to be followers of Jesus Christ no matter the cost to themselves.

2. Beginning in conversion, change of mind and heart, this commitment is expressed not in a single action, nor even in a number of actions over a period of time, but in an entire way of life. It means committing one’s very self to the Lord.

3. Stewardship is an expression of discipleship, with the power to change how we understand and live our lives. Disciples who practice stewardship recognize God as the origin of life, the giver of freedom, the source of all they have and are and will be. They are deeply aware of the truth that “The Lord’s are the earth and its fullness; the world and those who dwell in it” (Ps 24:1). They know themselves to be recipients and caretakers of God’s many gifts. They are grateful for what they have received and eager to cultivate their gifts out of love for God and one another.
